NI TECH Exiles

Northern Ireland has an exciting emerging community of science and technology start-up ventures. Key to the success of any venture is access to networks of trusted, experienced and connected individuals who can provide access to talent, capital or markets. The majority of local start-ups do not have strong networks or the resources to develop them. At the same time Northern Ireland has an extensive Diaspora of successful science and technology industry executives and professionals working in established corporations in the UK, Ireland, EMEA and Americas etc. Many have a desire to return home or to develop stronger relationships with NI ventures in a similar domain. NISP CONNECT’s Tech Exiles is an annual event during the week between Xmas and New Year when many NI Exiles return home for Christmas. The goal is to facilitate the creation of many new relationships between Northern Ireland’s venture community and NI's Diaspora.
