Wrapping up a week of engagements in the US, Economy Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald has announced that mobile security company, iVerify, is expanding its operations and support team in Belfast.
iVerify offers an advanced mobile endpoint detection and response security tool that protects mobile devices from modern mobile threats such as mercenary spyware and SIM swapping. The company was founded in 2023 and currently employs over 40 staff globally.
Making the announcement while visiting the company’s headquarters in New York, Minister Archibald said: “Foreign direct investment plays an important part in building our economic success. Over the past week I have met with business leaders and potential investors to showcase the many advantages of doing business in the north, from our skilled workforce to our commitment to innovation and sustainability. iVerify’s reinvestment is a vote of confidence in this proposition.
“Invest NI has worked closely with iVerfiy to secure this investment. The new jobs will provide excellent opportunities for local talent. The company also plans to collaborate with our universities to develop placement and graduate roles – helping those at all stages of their careers.”
The company chose Northern Ireland for its expansion following consideration of several other locations including London, Manchester and Glasgow.

Invest NI is supporting the investment with financial support and investor services. Roles on offer with average salaries of £78,000 include full stack development engineers, support engineers and data analysts.
