ALTEN, as a world leader in Engineering and IT Services, has announced the opening of its newest UK office in Belfast, marking a significant strategic expansion into Northern Ireland. The move strengthens ALTEN’s ability to support both existing and emerging customers in the region.
Accelerate activities in Northern Ireland
ALTEN already provides services to major engineering industry players in the Belfast area. It is in active discussions with additional engineering and public sector organisations across Northern Ireland as demand for high calibre engineering and technology expertise continues to grow.
“Opening in Belfast is an exciting milestone for ALTEN in the UK. The region combines worldclass universities, a vibrant tech community, and a strong aerospace and defence heritage. Our investment will create high-quality engineering and technology roles, support existing customers and build new partnerships across Northern Ireland. We’re committed to recruiting locally and developing careers that make a real impact,” said Denis FEDERICO, CEO, ALTEN UK.
The new Belfast office represents a long-term investment in the region’s thriving engineering and digital ecosystem. ALTEN anticipates rapid scaleup, projecting growth to 100 employees within the next three years. This is underpinned by a commitment to local recruitment. The company will focus on attracting talent from Northern Ireland’s great universities and others from the local community.
Commitment to Northern Ireland
The Belfast office will serve as a hub for ALTEN’s expanding UK operations, supporting both local delivery and international projects.
