Human First, Future Ready: Landmark Inclusion Summit Returns to Belfast

  • Business leaders from across Northern Ireland and beyond will gather at Titanic Belfast on 7 October 2026 for the annual Diversity Mark Summit.

Under the theme ‘Future Ready, Human First’, the transformative one-day event, in partnership with Allstate, will feature expert keynote speakers and breakout sessions, bringing together local and international voices to exchange practical learnings and reinforce the central role of people as the most important asset in any successful organisation.

The flagship annual event will highlight how organisations can respond to technological shifts in a way that strengthens culture, attracts and retains talent, drives stronger organisational performance, and ultimately builds long-term trust and reputation. By ensuring people feel valued, supported and able to contribute – regardless of background or experience – employers will be encouraged to adopt an approach that is both human-first and, as a result, future ready.

At the Summit launch in Belfast, Diversity Mark Director Christine White said: “This year’s Summit exists at the intersection of leadership, lived experience and technology. Specifically, how organisations can navigate with confidence the opportunities and challenges from advances in technology and AI to evolving workforce expectations, talent needs and organisational culture.

“Already this year we have seen how online environments provoke violence and ultimately perpetuate the most harmful of stereotypes. Yet these same platforms can be a vehicle for inclusive change, too. This Summit stands as the culmination of our year-round work at Diversity Mark to promote respectful, inclusive cultures, all the while engaging in constructive conversations on pressing topics such as racism, mental health, ending violence against women and girls, and the experiences of boys and men today.”

The October event will also feature the return of the powerful and poignant ‘In My Shoes’ series and with it, real-world case studies to engender audience engagement, reflection and shared learning.

Looking ahead to this year’s Summit, Stephen McKeown, Vice President & Managing Director, Allstate Northern Ireland: "We're delighted to once again support the Diversity Mark Summit and its timely theme of 'Future Ready, Human First'. As organisations adapt to rapid advances in technology and AI, success will depend not only on innovation, but on our ability to build inclusive cultures where people can thrive. At Allstate, we see every day that diverse perspectives lead to better decisions, stronger teams and more meaningful outcomes for our customers. By putting people at the centre of transformation, we can create workplaces that are more resilient, more innovative and better equipped for the future. This Summit is an opportunity to learn from one another and reinforce the vital connection between inclusion, leadership and long-term success."
