Northern Ireland’s enterprise support service Go Succeed is making funding grants of up to £4,000 available across the region - and is calling on eligible businesses to apply in a bid to supercharge their future plans.
The funding aims to help businesses unlock barriers to growth and is the latest tranche released by the service which has already distributed more than £6 million in grants to a range of businesses across Northern Ireland.
The money may be used to top up capital spending on the purchase of specialist equipment to automate production processes and boost productivity, or digital tools such as a website or software to streamline operations and enhance how businesses promote their business.

Mayor of Derry and Strabane, Councillor Grace Uí Niallais, speaking on behalf of Go Succeed, said: “For many businesses, the right investment at the right time can unlock significant opportunities for growth. I am delighted to welcome the next round of Go Succeed grants as we seek to help ambitious businesses overcome barriers, invest with confidence and build stronger, more resilient operations.
"Thousands of businesses across Northern Ireland have already received support through Go Succeed and have seen the transformative impact this funding can have. I would really encourage businesses that are thinking about investing in their future to find out more and apply when the next round opens.”
More than 2,000 grants have already been given to businesses across multiple sectors in every part of Northern Ireland.
Among them, Dukes Ultra Premium Ice Cream based outside Gortin, Co Tyrone enabling them to purchase a new ice cream ripple pump.
Founder Jonny Campbell said: “The new pump massively increased the quality and consistency of our produce allowing us to secure stockists while also streamlining workloads that meant I could concentrate on growing the business.”
Jonny set up the artisan ice cream outlet from his dairy farm with his wife Natasha during the pandemic - and has plans for further growth with the help of Go Succeed.
“The Go Succeed grant also allowed us to purchase additional new equipment, unlocking new opportunities and helping us to supercharge our social media output which has been vital in bringing our business to the next level.”

Other recipients include Belfast recording studio 1620 Audio who purchased new sound gear and cameras to increase their capacity, The Curious Farmer in Tyrone, which dramatically increased its production of pies thanks to an upgrade to its equipment and Hillside Designs in Swatragh which has been able to turn its business idea into a viable company thanks to support from Go Succeed.
