    Your role in the team

     

    Allstate Northern Ireland provides a wide range of IT Services across the Allstate Family of companies and we are excited to be partnering with fellow group member Squaretrade, in standing up a new team to support the company’s rapidly growing European growth strategy.

     

    Squaretrade specializes in extended warranty services for consumer electronics and appliances.   The EU Business is experiencing hockey-stick growth and has ambitious goals to be a $500 million business by the end of 2022. The business plans to grow aggressively in the Consumer Electronics category as well as the B2B segment of providing protection plans for small businesses.

     

    The Squaretrade Allstate NI Engineering team will play a critical role in supporting the EU business meet its growth targets and contribute to the delivery of key offerings that will facilitate the growth strategy.

     

    We are looking for an experienced product manager for our claim platform team. This team is responsible for designing service experiences that make our complex logistics processes seem fast and easy.

     

     

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

     

    • You will be responsible for features related to international payments, scaling our core architecture, and partnering with our Merchant Integration team to create new product features.
    • This role partners closely with internal and external business partners to understand business objectives, listens to users to understand their needs, then works with a specialized engineering scrum team to figure out implementation options.
    • In this high impact role, you'll directly impact customers and the success of the business.
    • You’ll work on interesting problems that directly impact customers and the business. You’ll own products from beginning to end, including defining the initial MVP and scaling long term.
    • With lots of variety in our ever-changing, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, you won’t get bored.

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • 4+ years experience as a Product Manager delivering Software products
    • Previous experience with agile scrum

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Experience with internationalization and localization
    • Experience with online payments (international a plus)
